AC Infinity CLOUDLAB, Gorilla Grow Tent, One Deal, Secret Jardin — the best grow tent for every budget and space.
Your grow tent is the foundation of your indoor garden. A good tent seals light, manages odors, supports heavy equipment, and maintains your environment. A bad tent leaks light during the dark cycle, sags under the weight of lights and fans, and zippers fail after a few months.
We've assembled hundreds of grow tents for customers and know exactly what separates premium from budget. Here's our 2026 ranking across all budgets.

AC Infinity CLOUDLAB is our top recommendation for most growers — excellent quality at a fair price. For the most demanding grows (heavy lights, multi-light setups, commercial), Gorilla Grow Tent is worth the premium. One Deal is the best value starter tent with sizes from 2x2 up to 10x10.
What's the most important quality feature in a grow tent?
Frame strength and canvas thickness. Look for aluminum poles at least 16mm diameter (Gorilla uses 3" steel — the strongest available) and canvas at least 600D thick. Second most important: zipper quality. Cheap zippers fail early and allow light leaks.
What size grow tent should I buy?
2x2 (1-2 small plants), 2x4 (2-4 plants, most popular for beginners), 3x3 (3-4 plants, good for LST grows), 4x4 (4-6 plants, most popular overall), 4x8 (8-12 plants, requires 2 lights), 5x5 (5-9 plants). Always buy the largest tent your space allows — plants and equipment take up more room than expected.
Do grow tents need to be light-proof?
Yes — any light leak during the dark cycle can trigger re-vegging in photoperiod cannabis and reduce yields. Quality tents are designed to be 100% light-proof. Check your tent after dark by standing inside with a flashlight — any light visible from outside indicates a leak needing tape.
Can you run a grow tent without a carbon filter?
Only if you don't care about odor. A carbon filter + inline fan removes essentially 100% of odors from exhaust air. For cannabis grows or any pungent plants, it's essential. For vegetables, herbs, and most plants, a carbon filter is optional.
