Description
Xtreme Gardening Mykos is a fast-growing, beneficial mycorrhizal fungus that increases nutrient and water uptake by forming a symbiotic relationship with plant roots.
Containing a single species of endomycorrhizae — Rhizophagus intraradices (formerly Glomus intraradices) at 300 propagules per gram — Mykos creates an extensive network of microscopic filaments (hyphae) that act as extensions of the root system, dramatically expanding the plant's ability to access nutrients and water.
Mykos is OMRI Listed and CDFA Organic certified — chemical-free and safe for use around children, pets, and pollinators.
It does not contain Trichoderma, ectomycorrhizae, or any other microbes.
Application Rates (Granular): • In-Ground & Raised Beds: 1-2 tbsp per plant hole, directly around roots • Containers: 1-3 gal = 1-2 tbsp; 5-7 gal = 4-6 tbsp; 10-20 gal = 1/2 cup; 25-50 gal = 1 cup; 100 gal = 2 cups • Sowing Seeds: 1 tbsp per foot of row, or 1/2 tsp per cell/plug • Soil/Coco Amending: 1 lb per 4 cu ft; 7 lbs per cubic yard • Transplanting: Sprinkle directly on root ball before placing in new container Key: Apply Mykos in direct contact with roots for best results.
Works in soil, coco, peat, and all soilless media.
Compatible with synthetic and organic fertilizers.
