Beets, Chiogga 1/2oz

This Italian variety of garden beet is also known as "candy stripe beet" because of its alternating rings of scarlet-red and white roots. The young leaves make delicious greens. Beets are very easy to grow and prefer cool weather, though they tolerate a wide range of conditions.
