Cabbage, Early Jersey Wakefield 1000 Seed Count

Introduced in the early 1840s, this early variety cabbage, has an elongated shape and 2-3 pound, large, dense, tightly folded heads. It's delicious, sweet flavor is ideal for salads, slaws, cooking and pickling. Heads have a small core, and good protective wrapper leaves so are good for storage.
