Vigorous growing variety that produces high quality, slightly tapered (approximately 9 inches by 1.5 inches) slender, dark orange roots with rounded ends, narrow shoulders and smooth skin. The orange-red flesh is coreless, crisp, very sweet and tender with great flavor. Perfect for taking to market, eating raw or adding to salads. 1933 AAS Winner.
