Wetsel Seed™ Alsike Clover is a highly hardy variety known for its ability to thrive in challenging conditions where other clovers may fail, particularly in low, wet soils or high gravel ground. It is an excellent choice for improving soil health and provides desirable hay for livestock. Alsike Clover is often recommended to be seeded at 2 lbs. per acre when mixed with other clovers, making it a valuable addition to most seed mixes and helping to reduce the overall cost of the mixture. However, caution should be exercised, as it should not be fed or grazed by horses, as they have been known to suffer adverse effects from Alsike Clover.
