Cucumber, Improved Long Green 1/2oz

Introduced in 1842, this cucumber can grow fruits up to 12 inches long by 3 inches wide but is best when harvested at 5-6 inches long for pickles. The fruit is straight and tapered a little toward the stem end with glossy, warted skin and flesh that is white, very solid, tender, crisp and has great flavor. Ideal as a slicer and a pickling cucumber.
