Salsify, Mammoth Island 1/2oz

A delicious root vegetable whose delicate, unique flavor has earned it the name "Oyster Plant." Use the 6-8 inch fleshy white roots as you would parsnips and rutabagas. Excellent sauteed, steamed, or in stews and soups. Its delicate flavor goes well with any meat. Raw, thin slices, are nice with dips.
