Developed in the 1940's this squash is one of the most popular grown. An outstanding winter vegetable, easy to grow and prolific. Flesh is rich orange, thick, sweet, and excellent tasting. Delicious in pies or cut into serving-size pieces and baked, steamed, boiled or mashed.
