During initial assembly the large threaded end is pushed through the main port in the lower Flexi Tank body.

The the washer and nut included with the Tap fitting are then placed over and tightened on the threaded end.

May I suggest just like I do with everything else.

Especially to first time growers, it might be a good idea to have two on hand.

It is worth mentioning that over tightening will result in not proper use.

Make sure to inspect the component before use to look for any damage to the threads.

My issue is with the screw on click tap.

The plastic that the male adapter sits on needs to be re-engineered and strengthened for when it is used with the flex filters.

If you are purchasing this part, I would order 2 extra (only $2.95) for when that adaptor piece snaps off and now you can feed your plants.

The seal is great and it connects to the quick connect that you get with the Tray2 grow.
